Why? Because we only invite genuine people. No need for name badges, forced referrals, or uncomfortable elevator pitches – just turn up and be yourself. Yes there’s mingling, tasty nibbles and flowing bevvys, you know - the usual, but there’s also prize raffles… because who doesn’t love presents? And a guest speaker.
Each month, BIO welcomes a host for the evening who does a short talk (don’t worry – no PowerPoint), and briefly takes us through a trending subject that sparks interest. We’re talking everything from AI Robots to Property. And the point of this is to keep things diverse, different – and most importantly, interesting.

We’re all about making sure that BIO is the right fit (for both you and us) and that’s why we encourage people to come along and give us a whirl. Why do we ask non-members to register before they come? Simple, to make sure you’re fed and watered and that the venue isn’t too snug. So, please give us the heads up that you’ll be coming along.
